Established in 1977, Union Christian Association (UCA) is a society registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act. It is also registered as a charitable trust with the Director Income tax Exemptions, Chennai. Its main objective is to promote value based education in all fields for the benefit of all people without any distinction of religion or economic position. In this, it gives special attention to students from the weaker sections of the public. The UCA has been promoted by a group of Christians from Kerala belonging to the Orthodox, Marthoma and CSI denominations. In the past twenty five years of its service, UCA has established a Higher Secondary School, a Nursing school and a college of physiotherapy. All these institutions are rated high in their respective fields as they maintain high standards of discipline and academic excellence leading to very creditable results in the examinations. UCA also runs a Women's Hostel for the benefit of students and working women.
